I spent the last few days of 2021 pondering the phrase “You can be both reporter and case-study”; I had heard it from Max Morales, a world-renowned writer and founder of andeswines.com. In my most recent twitter-space episode about technical writing, he made the point to explain how there was an industry-wide shift in media reporting, and how people in Tech possessed a unique trait — the ability to be a dual-threat.

I created Inked-in to solve a problem; the sincere shortage of dual-threat people in Tech. After my Twitter space with Max Morales, I quickly realized most people in the industry spend entire careers playing a singular, monotonous role and never getting to explore different lanes. The goal of this community is to build a world where everyone can learn to write in detail about their technical expertise and build multiple streams of income.
